Terms and Conditions


A. Contract
A booking is accepted and becomes definite from the date Lunfarda Travel SAS has received the client’s initial deposit. This is the moment when a binding contract between Lunfarda Travel SAS and the Client begins. By submitting the deposit and personal information, clients accept our Terms and Conditions. The contract is between Lunfarda Travel SAS and the Client (all the people who are signed or take our services). The person signing the booking form, declares that he/she/they has full authority on behalf of all the persons included thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.

 

B. Payment
For a booking with Lunfarda Travel SAS to be secure, the client must deposit 50% of the total amount due. The balance due must be paid to Lunfarda Travel SAS no later than 15 days before departure. If  the balance is not paid by the due date, Lunfarda Travel SAS will consider the booking cancelled by the Client. In the case of bookings made within 15 days of the departure date, their payment in full will be due at the time of contract Payment and can either be made by transferring the total amount of the invoice to one of our accounts or by credit card. All wiring and transfer costs or credit card overcharges should be covered by The Client.

 

C. Changes & Cancellation by the Client

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is informed to Lunfarda Travel SAS in writing. Cancellation fees will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by Lunfarda Travel SAS. In addition to the charges shown below airlines may impose 100% cancellation fees.

 

Period before departure written notification is received
a) Cancellation fee as a percentage of the complex itinerary (complex itineraries are defined by the joint purchase of at least two different services on one or more locations, and/or tailor made itineraries or experiences)
30 days or more 10%; 29-14 days 40%; 13-8 days 70%; 7 days or less 100%

b) Cancellation fee as a percentage of tour/transfer price (applies to tours and transfers that are not part of a complex itinerary)

5 days or more 0%; 4-2 days 50%; 2 day or less 100%

 

In case part of a booking is cancelled, the remaining party may have to pay additional charges (e.g. under-occupancy, or single room supplements).
– Please note that different cancellation policies will apply for Christmas, New Year and Special Dates.

 

Any changes made to the original booking must be confirmed by the person signing the booking form. Any costs or charges, which we incur or which are incurred or levied by our suppliers as a result of the change, will be covered by the Client. Although every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate changes and additional requests, their availability cannot be guaranteed.

 

D. Changes and Cancellation by Lunfarda Travel SAS
While Lunfarda Travel SAS will do everything possible to operate all tours as advertised, by entering into this contract the Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a tour itinerary or its contents due to prevailing local conditions. Lunfarda Travel SAS reserves the right to cancel or change any of the facilities, services or prices (including flights, accommodation or other arrangements) at any time, and make a different arrangement of comparable monetary value without compensation and accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. If a major change is known to us, the Client will be informed at the time of the booking. If a major change becomes necessary after booking, Lunfarda Travel SAS will inform the Clients as soon as reasonably possible. When a major change is made, the Client will be given the choice to accept the change of arrangements, purchase any other available tour or cancel the tour and obtain a full refund; provided that the major change is not due to force majeure. Force majeure is war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activities, natural or nuclear disaster, pandemics, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by cancellation or rescheduling of flights by an airline or governments, the alteration of airline or aircraft type, or other similar events beyond the control of Lunfarda Travel SAS. Lunfarda Travel SAS is not liable for any charges in the event of a change -beyond their control- to the departure time or date of a tour, flight or other form of transportation.

 

E. Passport, Visa and Vaccinations
It is the Client’s responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, immunizations and preventive medicines as may be required for the duration of the tour. Information about these matters or related items is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Lunfarda Travel SAS.

 

F. Illness or disability
Anyone suffering from an illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make all necessary arrangements to be provided any medication or treatments which may be required during the tour. If such disclosure were not made, this will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the tour and all monies paid will be forfeit.

 

G. Travel Insurance
Lunfarda Travel SAS does not provide such service and prices published at www.lunfardatravel.com do not include Travel Insurance. However, Lunfarda Travel SAS recommends purchasing it through a reputable Insurance Company.

 

H. Complaints
If the Client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements he/she/they must bring it to the attention of the tour leader or other representative of Lunfarda Travel SAS at the time so that they may do everything possible to correct the situation. Only if Lunfarda Travel SAS is informed of any problem, there will be the opportunity to rectify things. If the complaint were not made on the spot, this will result in the Client’s failure to claim compensation from Lunfarda Travel SAS or it may be reduced. Should the problem remain unsolved, the complaint must be submitted in writing to Lunfarda Travel SAS within 28 days of vacation completion.

 

I. Flight Bookings
Lunfarda Travel SAS will do everything possible to ensure that all flight prices are correct at the time they are quoted. Airlines reserve the right to amend or withdraw fares without prior notice. Once a deposit is paid on an airfare, it guarantees that a booking is being held for you, it does not guarantee the fare. The fare can only be guaranteed when the flight booking has been paid for in full and a ticket has been issued. Flight bookings cannot be transferred. The flight times given by Lunfarda Travel SAS are for general guidance only and are subject to change. Up-to-date flight times will be shown on the tickets. The Client must check the tickets very carefully immediately upon receipt of the latest timings. Lunfarda Travel SAS will endeavor to inform the Client as soon as possible in the event of any flight change. Details of airlines are also subject to change. Such changes do not constitute a significant modification to the vacation arrangements and will therefore not be entitled to cancel without paying the normal charges as a result. Lunfarda Travel SAS cannot be held responsible for any delay to your flight whether this delay is caused by adverse weather conditions, the action of air traffic controllers, airport authorities or (local) governments, the rescheduling of flight times by the airline, mechanical breakdown, strike, industrial action, pandemics or any other reason.

 

J. Our responsibility
Lunfarda Travel SAS accepts responsibility for ensuring that the vacation which the Client books with them is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will be given upon arrival and the services reach a reasonable standard. Lunfarda Travel SAS acts only in the capacity of an agent upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, it is not responsible for injury, sickness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay, or other irregularities which may be caused either through willful or negligent acts or omissions made by the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation, accommodation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals, pandemics or other causes.

 

K. Website Terms and Conditions
The works of authorship contained in this Website, including design, text and images, are owned, except as otherwise expressly stated, by Lunfarda Travel SAS  . or its licensors. Worldwide copyright laws and treaty provisions protect the entire contents of this Website. In accordance with these terms you and other Website users may not:

Copy, reproduce, modify, use, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way material from the Website.
Copy, modify or display trademarks, names or logos appearing on this Website in any way without Lunfarda Travel SAS  .’s express written permission.

Redeliver any of the pages, text, images or other content of this Web Site using “framing” technology without Lunfarda Travel SAS express written permission.
