There's no planet B,

so let's play a part in preserving our shared home.

Check out our Mission to learn more about how we address social justice through storytelling and actions with NGOs and other partners.

This is what we are fighting to preserve:

Our commitement to sustainability

This is our stance, our actions and our plan

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

We don't give single use plastics to our guests and we don't use them in our office. We offer to properly dispose of any residues our guests might have while being with us. We recycle all our plastics, compost our organics and use home-made cleaning products. We run an almost paper-less operation.

Educate

We educate our guests, social media followers and staff about sustainability issues showing practical ways in which you can both live a more sustainable life and travel more sustainably.

Holistic approach

We believe that sustainability is about the environment but also about the people. Tourism can create holistic solutions to specific problems relating to sustainability, as we empower indigenous and local communities to run sustainable businesses on their own terms while opening for them an international market.

Amazing Partners

There's no way we can beat the environmental crisis alone. That's why we partner with like minded providers for our itineraries accross Argentina and in Buenos Aires. We try to push each other into accountability and into making our sustainability policies even better and more comprehensive.

Open data is the best tool against greenwashing

We believe the best way to combat greenwashing is by giving the example of making all our sustainability data open for anyone to pry. Expect our first data upload by July 2022 here.

Share the wealth

There can be no sustainability with the current wealth gap, which is why we work to bring foreign currency directly into the hands of locals and specially of those locals working with NGOs, private companies and the government to promote sustainable and equitable practices.

We offest and regenerate our land

Whether it's a transfer, tour, experience or our office footprint, we'll offset twice their CO2 emissions. We even calculate the amount of meat eaten on our tours, and offset that too!

And the way we do is byplant native trees in Patagonia once a year with our own hands. Those trees get geo-tagged so we can go back and find them in the future. The areas chosen for planting were areas that suffered from forest fires. As we only started implementing this program during the pandemic, you'll find the next set of available data on July 2022.

We reduce the negative impact of our asado tours

We know that many people come to Argentina drooling at the thought of a juicy bife de chorizo or a milanesa napolitana. Sadly, the Argentine voracity for meat hides a grim reality of land-overuse, deforestation and animal mistreatment.

At this point, we all know that leading a plant-forward or plant-based diet is more sustainable.  Nevertheless, we are here to educate, not preach. This is why we only recommend and use in our experiences grass-fed meat. We are constantly checking and double checking on our providers to see that they stay true to their claims about ethical treatment of these animals and value  those farmers with a soil-regeneration approach.
